For my #EnvatoChallenge I made a social reel called People.
Every stranger you pass is living a life as full and complicated as your own.
You just never get to see it.
That was the whole starting point. You catch a half-second of someone and your brain files them as an extra in your movie, while they're the main character of theirs, with a whole thing going on you'll never know about.
So I tried to make something that sits in that feeling.
No story line, but just a reminder that everyone's got one.
I used Envato for music, images and videos starting with stock images that I got inspired by and used as references and to expand ideas from those.
I believe the main human by design call I had to make was not only the final edit, but prompting for "imperfect" generations.
AI is trained to give the perfect image every time, centered angles, equal proportions, bright colors. I tried the complete opposite while still trying to make it look like a complete social reel.

From Amazon Listings to a Cinematic Music Video
I joined the Envato AI Challenge to explore AI for Amazon listing design. As I experimented, I became curious about how far the tools could go beyond e-commerce.
Using the remaining challenge generations, I explored character consistency, cinematic lighting, storytelling, and visual continuity. What started as testing gradually evolved into a complete AI-assisted music video.
Workflow
• Original concept and lyrics with Envato
• Music generated with Envato AI Music Generator (vocals are in Serbian, as that was the language I chose during testing)
• Visuals generated with Envato AI Image Generator
• AI animation, editing, color grading, transitions, and final assembly
This project became an exploration of a complete AI creative workflow—from concept to a finished music video.

Going from Amazon listing work to a cinematic music video is a huge creative leap, love that you followed the curiosity. What was the hardest part of adapting AI tools built for product shots into something with actual narrative pacing?
Ogni generazione, un’entità diversa. L’intelligenza artificiale non ricorda chi hai scelto di essere — serviva un punto fermo, e l’ho costruito io.
Per la #envatochallenge “Human by Design” ho diretto Zoia, la mia entità AI, in una campagna reale per @candlestore candele artistiche dove la cera diventa pietra, legno, metallo. Non tutto ciò che è tecnicamente perfetto, è vero: l’ho imparato scartando ogni volto che non era più lei.
Realizzato interamente con @envato — ImageGen e ImageEdit per il personaggio, MockupGen per integrare il prodotto reale, VideoGen per l’animazione, VoiceGen per la voce, font e musica dalla libreria Envato. Montato con CapCut.

“Quando l'AI dimentica chi hai scelto
Il momento "Human by Design" di questo progetto non è stato pianificato — è emerso
da un problema reale incontrato a metà lavorazione.
Il problema
Ogni generazione libera produceva un volto diverso: Zoia diventava, di fatto, un'entità
nuova a ogni immagine. Tecnicamente ogni risultato era valido — ma nessuno di essi era
davvero lei. L'intelligenza artificiale non ha memoria di un personaggio scelto: ricorda solo
un prompt, non un'identità.
La decisione
La scelta è stata costruire un master reference — un'unica immagine definitiva, selezionata
tra le prime generazioni per la sua qualità di "entità tra umano e virtuale" — e imporla come
ancoraggio a ogni generazione successiva, invece di lasciare che il modello reinterpretasse
il soggetto ogni volta.
È una decisione che l'AI non poteva prendere da sola: richiede un giudizio su cosa rende
un'identità riconoscibile e coerente, non solo su cosa è esteticamente riuscito.

Altre correzioni umane lungo il processo
Un primo movimento video generato risultava troppo intenso e "inquietante" per una
campagna prodotto: il prompt è stato riscritto per un registro più sereno ed elegante,
senza perdere l'identità dark-editoriale.
Un secondo tentativo produceva un movimento oscillante e innaturale sulle mani:
corretto con istruzioni esplicite su cosa dovesse restare fermo, non solo su cosa dovesse
muoversi.
Il gesto delle mani è stato riscritto in chiave "rituale" — un'intenzione precisa, non solo
un'indicazione estetica — per dare significato al movimento invece di lasciarlo generico.
