Neymar — Born to Play | Website Concept
Neymar — Born to Play | Web Design & Development
A bold digital concept inspired by Neymar’s personality, creativity, and life beyond the pitch.
“Born to Play” explores how a personal brand can become a distinctive online experience. I designed and developed this independent project to bring together expressive art direction, character-led visuals, and a cohesive website.
THE CREATIVE DIRECTION
The visual identity combines golden yellow, warm cream, and deep charcoal with oversized rounded typography. Stylized character imagery and a dimensional NJ monogram give the opening screen a strong focal point, while a restrained layout keeps the message clear.
The aim was to capture a playful, confident personality through the entire design—from the opening headline to the smallest navigation detail.
THE WEBSITE EXPERIENCE
The hero introduces the concept with “Born to play,” pairing a striking portrait with a simple invitation to explore.
Further down, the design presents two sides of the same personality: “On the pitch” and “Off duty.” Complementary editorial cards connect football and lifestyle, using consistent colors, imagery, and typography to make each section feel part of the same world.
The closing message, “Never lose your play,” brings the experience back to its central idea.
MY ROLE
Creative direction, interface design, visual composition, and website development.
This project demonstrates my approach to translating a creative idea into a working website: establish a clear visual direction, give the content structure, and carry that identity through the finished experience.

The goal was to make the perfume feel almost weightless — combining dreamy skies, delicate pastel tones, translucent UI elements, and an oversized product visual to create an emotional first impression.

The result is a soft, premium digital experience that combines luxury storytelling with clear e-commerce functionality.

The typography fits the fragrance vibe perfectly 🌷
The hardest brief in identity work is "make us look serious without making us look corporate."
Serious comes from consistency. Corporate comes from removing anything a person chose.
"Corporate comes from removing anything a person chose" is going straight in my notes. I'd push it further though, I think a lot of that removal happens in legal and stakeholder review, not the initial design pass. Do you find the fight is more with the client's own instincts or with whoever signs off after them?
