The client was a fashion e-commerce project in Ukraine looking to increase organic visibility and strengthen its authority in search results.
At the beginning, the website generated 1.84K organic clicks and 39.4K impressions, while its backlink profile included only 73 backlinks from 32 referring domains with a Domain Rating of 2.9.
The project combined SEO promotion and external link building to expand organic reach and build a stronger backlink profile.
Challenges
The project started with relatively limited organic visibility and a small link profile:
1.84K organic clicks
39.4K impressions
4.7% CTR

73 backlinks
32 referring domains
2.9 Domain Rating
The challenge was to expand search visibility while developing the backlink profile gradually and increasing the number of independent referring domains.
What I Implemented
I worked on both organic search performance and external promotion.
The work included:
monitoring organic clicks, impressions, CTR and average position;
analyzing Google Search Console performance;
identifying opportunities for organic visibility growth;
monitoring keyword performance;
building and expanding the backlink profile;
increasing the number of referring domains;
tracking Domain Rating and backlink dynamics through Ahrefs.
Optimization Approach
The SEO strategy focused on expanding the website's search visibility while maintaining stable rankings as the number of impressions increased.
In parallel, the link-building strategy prioritized diversifying referring domains rather than simply accumulating backlinks from the same websites. This resulted in growth from 32 to 116 referring domains, significantly expanding the range of external sources linking to the project.
Results
After 12 months:
Organic clicks: 1.84K → 7.75K (4.21×)
Impressions: 39.4K → 307K (7.79×)
Average position: 12.0 → 11.4
Domain Rating: 2.9 → 18
Backlinks: 73 → 306 (4.19×)
Referring domains: 32 → 116 (3.63×)
Organic keywords: 293 → 370 (+26.3%)
Ahrefs' estimated organic traffic also increased from 1.4K to 9.9K.
In the final period, organic traffic remained stable at around 7.75K clicks, while impressions continued to grow by 7.7% compared with the previous month.
Business Impact
The project delivered:
4.21× growth in organic clicks;
7.79× growth in search impressions;
a substantially broader external link profile;
growth in referring domains from 32 to 116;
stronger foundations for competing for commercial fashion queries;
continued organic traffic growth despite the seasonality of the fashion niche.
Conclusion
Final result: 7.75K monthly organic clicks, 307K impressions, 370 organic keywords, Domain Rating 18 and 116 referring domains after 12 months of SEO promotion and link building.
Ranksit — AI content and SEO SaaS (ranksit.net)
Designed and built the full marketing site for Ranksit, an AI tool that turns a keyword into a researched, SEO-scored article.
The hero leads with a clear before/after promise ("Turn a keyword into publish-ready, optimised content"). The key differentiator, "optimised," is pulled out in a contrasting colour so it reads first. A single input field sits directly under the headline instead of a generic CTA button, letting a visitor try the core action immediately, with popular example prompts underneath to lower the effort of that first interaction. Four short feature cards below establish credibility (researched, audited, live feedback, ready to ship) without needing a separate scroll section.
The "How it works" section breaks the product into three numbered steps for scannability, followed by real content score examples (92, 88, 74) that make the abstract "SEO scoring" concept concrete and visual rather than just a claim.
Pricing uses a simple two-tier layout with the Pro plan visually distinguished by a border and badge. The price is the largest element on the card since it's the first thing a comparison shopper looks for.
The FAQ section closes objections before the final CTA. The page ends on a repeated, action-oriented close ("Ready to rank?") rather than trailing off after pricing.
