🧩 Before You Design the Website, Organize the Content.
One mistake I see in website projects is jumping straight into the design before thinking about how the content will work.
With Webflow CMS, good planning can make the difference between a website that's easy to manage and one that becomes difficult to maintain.
Before building, I think about:
→ What content needs its own Collection
→ Which fields each content type requires
→ How different pages connect
→ Which layouts can share templates
→ What clients need to edit themselves
→ How the structure will scale over time
For example, a portfolio website might need separate Collections for projects, services, team members, and blog posts.
Each Collection has a clear purpose, and reusable templates keep the design consistent.
Good CMS architecture starts before the first page is designed.
Plan the content. Structure the system. Then build the experience.
That's how you create websites that are not only beautiful but easier to manage as a business grows.
I designed and developed this landing page for Stereo Fest: Eclipse, the upcoming youth event for @caminodevida.
The visual concept comes from a simple truth: the moon has no light of its own, it only reflects the light of the sun.
In the same way, we weren’t made to generate our own light, but to reflect Jesus.
The cool part: as you scroll, you control the movement of the moon. Right at the core phrase, the eclipse happens, showing that in the darkness, the Glory of God is revealed.
