How do I enhance the mood of a story through color?
By deciding what color means before the first frame is created.
For OLDER THAN TIME, color was defined at the concept stage and then carried consistently throughout the entire story.
Monochrome represents time — the world that passes, fades, and disappears.
Gold represents memory — the inner light that remains.
Rain and reflections carry that gold from one frame to another, turning a limited palette into part of the storytelling.
Color is not decoration here.
It is dramaturgy.
