A new start 😊 It sounds absolutely ridiculous, I, a designer, didn't have a personal Portfolio until 2 weeks ago. And it'll sound bonkers to a level people never heard of now cuz I've been working in the design field for 9+ years now 😀. So, how in the world did I get this far without a website? I was the 9-5 guy for almost 8 years until exactly 2 years ago (it gets more bizarre cuz actually, I did work in Infinity Ward - people who made Call of Duty & yes, I actually worked in it for real), among many others. Every time I needed to show a portfolio, I just showed a PDF. It's bad, yes, but it worked! At the beginning of this year, I decided that enough is enough. Since AI is here and I need to learn way, way more than I know, I'm gonna re-invent myself. So, joined Contra and also built a portfolio in Framer as a start 😁.

Contra is genuinely changing everything I thought I knew about freelancing.

I've worked on so many platforms, and nothing has come close to what Contra is building. It doesn't feel like a website. It feels like a place where creatives actually belong. You can share your work, find someone to collab with, learn from others, and land clients who actually get you.

I've found some of my favorite clients here. And I keep bringing my own clients here too because managing projects on Contra just makes sense.

What gets me most is that you can feel how much they care. They're constantly building new tools and new ways to make your work easier. That's rare.
