Built a real-time ride-sharing Android app in Java with a Firebase backend. Implemented rider and driver modules with live GPS tracking, Google Maps route drawing (Directions API), and automatic fare calculation (base fare + per-km rate). Used Firebase Realtime Database to sync ride status instantly between rider and driver — from request, to acceptance, to completion.

Standard Android content filters are easy for users to bypass, disable, or uninstall, while third-party remote VPNs introduce severe latency and data privacy risks.
The Solution & Impact
Built a Kotlin-native Android application that enforces device-level content filtering and anti-tampering protection locally without sending user traffic to external servers.
Local VPN & DNS Filtering: Intercepts system-wide DNS packets via a local VpnService TUN interface to block prohibited domains locally with zero latency.
System-Level Security Hooks: Utilized Android Accessibility Services and Device Admin APIs to prevent unauthorized uninstallation, force-stopping, or setting bypasses.
Tamper-Proof Lock: Enforced settings locking via an encrypted, randomized password generator to ensure non-bypassable enforcement.

NEXA//07 — Cyberpunk Gun-Kata Arena FPS
A new personal game development project focused on fast-paced arena combat, futuristic environments and a strong cyberpunk identity.
NEXA//07 combines Arena FPS gameplay with a Gun-Kata-inspired combat concept, exploring how shooting, movement and close-range encounters can work together as a single combat system.
For this project, I’m working across multiple disciplines including:

The goal is to build a cohesive game universe where the visual language, interface and gameplay all reinforce the same identity.

Pocketride is a ride-hailing app for riders and drivers - book a ride, get matched with a driver, get where you're going. We built it for mid-size Canadian cities like Sarnia, which are too small for the big platforms (Uber etc.) to prioritize but have plenty of real demand. It's currently live with real drivers and riders.
How we built it on Bubble: Server-side recursive dispatch workflows -moved all ride-matching logic off the client so it keeps running even when a driver's phone is minimized or backgrounded, fixing a major reliability gap from client-side timers.
Push notifications via the Devices field - needed for push to reliably reach drivers across app states.
Deep-linked navigation to Google Maps - native mobile doesn't support HTML elements, so we route drivers out to Maps for turn-by-turn instead of building nav in-app.
Twilio SMS as a redundant channel alongside push, so notifications land even when FCM delivery is inconsistent. And, also for phone OTPs while signing up.
Stripe for payments, with QuickBooks Contractor Payments integration in progress for direct driver payouts.
A single shared ride-claim action to prevent race conditions when multiple drivers get notified about the same ride at once.
The fun part of building this on Bubble was proving out a real-time, race-condition-sensitive, notification-heavy system, the kind you'd normally assume needs a custom backend, entirely on the platform.
