Took me two year to go from $0 to $50K. Took me a month to go from $50K to $100K.

Curious what changed operationally between month one of that $50K to $100K jump versus the two years before it. Was it mostly repeat clients compounding, or did referrals finally kick in?
A lot of different stuff happened. I spent the first few month of 2026 building process. I hired a project manager. Scaled the team from freelance to studio size. But also, all of the work I poured into SEO, GEO, External link, Social media presence started to pay off and the lead got bigger and better. 🔥 🙌
Makes sense, though I'd have guessed the SEO/content compounding would take longer to show up than that. Hiring the project manager freeing up your actual selling time is probably underrated in that story too. Would you say that's a fair read?

That jump from $50K to $100K in a month rarely comes from more hours; it usually means pricing finally caught up to the value or a repeat-client engine started compounding. $1M is a different game, since it depends on whether you can add leverage through retainers or productized work instead of selling more of your own time.
