Backyard Gems is an app to get people to explore their communities and protect their local "gems".
Started in Figma Weave, went to Figma Make, back to Figma Weave, then back to Figma Make, then to Figma Design the back to Figma Weave. Also would copy chats/prompts from each product to use in another product during my workflow.
Why all that? Mainly the visuals lol. I thought generating a brand system then using that in Figma Make would make things easier, but there was still needed adjustments. And there was alot of adjustments and generations to get some visuals and videos that I liked/could tolerate.
Also saw a question on another submission about if a video was made in Figma Weave, and I thought, why not as I was concerned about how to best portray the aim of the app that I couldn't do with just a screen recording. So copied app design from Make, plopped into Design, so I could port it into Weave.

For the #ConfigMakeathon, I built Rollroom 🎲
A desktop-only backgammon web app where you can create a room, share one link, play live 1v1, chat in real time, use voice commands, or play against a bot.
I built it with Figma Make, using Figma’s AI workflow to move from interface design to a working interactive prototype.
The idea: make a classic board game instantly playable online, without accounts, setup, or friction.

Building a fully working 1v1 backgammon app with voice commands and bot mode using Figma Make is a seriously ambitious scope. The no-account, no-friction angle is a smart design choice too.
Day 4–5 | Phase 2: Ideation & Iteration ⚡
This phase was all about turning ideas into visuals and finding faster ways to iterate.
I started by taking my hand-sketched wireframes into Figma Make to explore different directions and layouts. Instead of using the outputs as final screens, I treated them as inspiration to refine the experience.
Alongside that, I had another challenge: creating the personality of Access Atlas.
I had a rough idea and a few 2D references for the AI companion, but wanted it to feel more alive. That became my first real experiment with Figma Weave.
Using Weave's node system, I tested multiple prompt paths and ran them through different LLMs to transform the initial concept into a 3D mascot that matched the look and feel I wanted.
That was when I realised the potential of the workflow.
Then came the next challenge: icons.
I wanted a clean, consistent set of 3D accessibility icons, but the ones I needed were too specific and didn't exist.
So I built my own.
The Weave Workflow
→ Defined style, camera angle, colour palette, and visual language
→ Ran the brief through 3 prompt enhancers simultaneously
→ Refined one final prompt
→ Tested it across 4 LLMs in parallel
→ Selected one icon as the master reference
→ Created a variable prompt system (Wheelchair → Elevator → Escalator → etc.)
→ Generated a complete icon family in the same style
This workflow dramatically reduced repetitive work and made iteration much faster.
Phase 2 is almost complete.
From sketches → concepts → mascot → custom icon system
