There are days in this work when you wonder if any of it lands.

You send the email no one asked you to send, the one you wrote because something in you said this person needs this today. You reorganize the folder system at 11pm not because it was on your task list, but because you could see the mess coming three weeks before it arrived. You catch the detail everyone else scrolled past. You think about the business at midnight even though the contract only asked for your hours between nine and five.

And sometimes often nobody says a word.

Not because they don't notice. But because good work has a way of being invisible. The crisis that never happened. The meeting that ran smoothly. The inbox that somehow stayed clear. Nobody sends a thank you for the disaster that didn't occur.

So you keep going. Quietly. Faithfully. Doing the work as if someone is watching, even when it feels like no one is.

And then on an ordinary day a sentence finds you.

And something in you exhales.

Not because you needed the validation to know your work has worth. But because being seen....truly seen ...is one of the most human things there is. It's the moment someone holds up a mirror and shows you who you've been all along. And you realise: the work you were doing in private? It was never hidden. It was building something. A reputation. A track record. A testimony.

There's a quiet kind of faith in this.

The faith that says: keep showing up with your whole self, even when no one seems to be watching. Because someone always is. And the right someone, at the right time, will find the words for what they see in you.
