The goal was to keep the UI readable at a glance while still fitting useful data into a very limited screen space.
What do you think matters most in smartwatch design: minimalism, information density, or fast interaction?

My instinct says fast interaction beats the other two on a smartwatch, if the glance takes half a second too long, minimalism and density stop mattering anyway. Does that match what you found, or did testing point you somewhere else?

That matches our thinking quite closely. On a smartwatch, we’d prioritize speed of interaction first, then use minimalism and information density to support it rather than compete with it.
