How I Write an 800-Word SEO Blog Post in 2 Hours - My 5-Step Process

Many people think SEO writing is slow. It's not, if you have a system.

Here is my exact process as a Content Writer:

Keyword Research (15 min) - I use Google + AnswerThePublic to find what people REALLY ask.

Competitor Check (20 min) - I read top 3 articles, then find what they MISSED.

Outline (15 min) - H2, H3, with SEO intent. No writing before this!

First Draft (50 min) - Write for human first, Google second.

SEO Edit (20 min) - Optimize title, meta, internal links, readability.

Result: 800 words, SEO-optimized, plagiarism-free, ready to rank.

Both, but in that order for most sites. AI search still leans on pages that are crawlable and indexed, so GEO sits on top of SEO rather than replacing it. Where GEO adds something is answer-first sections, consistent facts about the brand across the web, and checking what assistants actually say about you.
