Studio Agulha — From Voice Note to Confirmed Tattoo Booking
What if a tattoo artist could receive a voice note in English, Portuguese, Spanish, or French and have it turned into a confirmed booking — without touching her phone?
That’s what I built with Studio Agulha, designed for Mara Costa, a solo tattoo artist in Alfama, Lisbon.
While Mara is working gloved and sterile, clients can send voice notes describing what they want. The app handles the rest:
🎙️ Voice note → transcription + translation
🧠 Extracts the design, style, size, placement, colour & travel dates
💬 Asks only for the information that's missing
💰 Calculates the price
📅 Shows only appointment times that fit the client's trip
✈️ Avoids booking too close to their flight day
🔒 Holds the appointment slot
💳 Collects a 30% deposit
🔔 Handles reminders, unpaid deposits, expired holds & waitlist openings automatically
Mara only needs to step in when a piece is large or unclear — and can approve it with one tap.
