Adidas - A redesign of the Micropacer — the pioneering 1984 digital running shoe, reimagined for a new generation of runners.
The Challenge
Preserving the Micropacer's unmistakable heritage and digital identity while removing the weight, bulk and functional limitations of a product designed over four decades ago.
The Solution
A performance-led reinterpretation built with lightweight engineered mesh, heat-bonded TPU and modern cushioning, replacing the original bulky computer with an ultrathin removable e-paper Memory Patch — keeping the spirit of 1984 while redesigning it for how we run today.

The interface icons translate surprisingly well into a football identity.
