This is where Smooth Ink began. My story, my purpose, my brand.
At the age of twelve I started writing stories across every genre I could imagine — Horror, Drama, Romance. I never thought it would turn into anything. It was just something I did. In class when there was no assigned work. In my free time. Whenever a story found me.
I even remember my mother getting upset with me for writing on her wall when I was younger, covering every surface I could reach with my crayons. I couldn't help it. Words just needed somewhere to go.
I never planned to become a writer. It simply never stopped choosing me.
Now I have seven years of experience and my own brand — Smooth Ink. But getting here was anything but easy. I built this alone, failed more times than I can count and kept going anyway. There were moments I nearly convinced myself it wasn't worth it. But every time I sat down and wrote, something reminded me why I started.
The moment Smooth Ink became real, I felt something I hadn't experienced in a long time — pure excitement. Like everything I had been quietly building finally had a name.
I chose this path because it came naturally and grew into a skill filled with purpose and the kind of accomplishment that doesn't fade.
This is slightly personal. But I'm putting it out there for anyone who needs to hear it — never give up. Starting at the bottom of the ladder doesn't mean you won't make it to the top.
