What I check before launching any small business website
Before any website I build goes live, it has to pass my 5-point pre-launch checklist:
1. Mobile-first — most visitors arrive on a phone. If the menu or contact button is hard to tap, the site isn't ready.
2. Loads in under 3 seconds — every extra second loses visitors. I compress images and cut the dead weight.
3. One clear action per page — call, book, or order. If a visitor has to guess what to do next, the design failed.
4. Real contact details everywhere — phone, address, and hours in the header and footer. Trust lives in the details.
5. Google-ready basics — proper titles, descriptions, and location info so customers can actually find you.
A website that passes all five doesn't just look good — it brings in business.
