Honestly, I have to be transparent here — I haven't actually landed a job through Contra yet. I brought my own existing work and clients onto the platform. For me, local outreach has been by far the best way to find work, so my advice would be to lean into your local network and community while you build up your presence here!

Solving real problems over making "pretty pages." I focused on the messy backend stuff clients actually struggle with — booking flows, dashboards, client forms — and that made it easy for them to see the value.
