As Creole seasonings filled the air, we could feel our ancestors' smiles surrounding the atmosphere.
Each October, we celebrate International Creole Heritage Month with the arts, cultural foodways, Zydeco dance gatherings, Creole and French learning tables, community boucheries, and so much more 💜 💚 💛 .
According to Lafayette Travel, Creoles in Louisiana began celebrating International Creole Heritage Month in the late 1970s and early 80s along with Saint Lucia and other places 🌍 🌎.
