Human by Design
For the Contra × Envato "Human by Design" challenge, I wanted to explore what happens when human imagination meets AI possibility.
My original concept was to zoom into an Earth-like world and travel between different creators across continents. As I experimented with Envato AI, I realized something important:
My biggest "Human by Design" moment wasn't fixing an AI mistake—it was changing the story.
The AI could generate beautiful images, but it couldn't recognize that the narrative itself needed to evolve. Instead of treating the Envato mark as Earth, I imagined it as a naturally formed habitable planet—a civilization built on creativity itself.
That single creative decision transformed the entire project, from a sequence of locations into a story about co-creation.
From there, every choice became intentional. I refined prompts, discarded generations that didn't support the narrative, adjusted pacing, colour and music, and simplified scenes whenever they served the story better. The goal was never to generate more—it was to create a film with a clear creative direction.
The final film was created using Envato AI as the primary creative toolkit, with editing, pacing, sound design, colour grading and finishing completed in CapCut.

AI has changed the game and made almost anything possible. But just because you can make anything doesn’t mean you always know what to make.
For this one, I took one simple piece of Envato’s identity, the logo, and pushed it as far as I could with one goal: make a pretty sick ad.
From there, it was a lot of experimenting, prompting, failing, refining, and eventually bringing all those ideas to life using Envato’s AI tools.
The result is my take on Human by Design. AI can give us endless possibilities, but someone still has to come up with the idea and decide where to take it.

I built an amber glass beauty campaign for the Envato Human by Design Challenge.
I started with a concept and a moodboard: warm, honeyed light, skin and jewelry glowing in gold. Then I went into Envato Elements. From Photos, I picked amber glass and honey textures. From Fonts, I chose Royalford and Garolia. I skipped anything too metallic, I wanted glass, not chrome.
Next, I generated my images with Midjourney. My first results looked warm, but generic, just a sunset filter. That was my human moment. I knew it wasn't right, so I changed my prompt. I asked for light passing through glass, in stripes, onto skin. That gave me the image that actually worked.
I brought my favorite images into Photoshop. I layered the Envato textures on top, added my Envato font, Royalford, as the campaign titles, and built each image like a real campaign page.
For the final video, I used Kling to bring the stills to life, then edited everything together in Adobe Premiere Pro, scored with Music from Envato, "Golden Hour" by Bransboynd.

Apocrypha: Human by Design
For the EnvatoChallenge, I wanted to explore a different relationship between AI and creativity.
I created Apocrypha, a collectible card universe where every artifact begins as an AI-assisted concept but only becomes part of the archive through human taste, creative direction, and design.
Instead of asking AI to create finished pieces, I used Envato as the main creative toolkit throughout the entire project. I explored its stock image and video library to build moodboards, collect textures, study compositions, and define the visual language of the world. I also used Envato AI to generate concepts for characters, artifacts, and environments, then refined, combined, and reworked them into a cohesive universe. Some of the concepts were even manually painted over to push them beyond the original AI output.
Alongside the cards, I designed ArchiveOS, a living creative bible where I organize collections, lore, references, prompts, and every creative decision behind the project. It became the place where the entire world of Apocrypha could grow consistently.
The biggest creative decision wasn't generating images. It was deciding what deserved to exist. Knowing when an idea felt wrong, when an artwork needed more work, when a concept should evolve, or when it should be discarded completely. AI gave me possibilities, but every final artifact exists because of human judgment.
