Built presentation templates for a diplomatic project once, work headed into an actual embassy, which is a different kind of pressure than a startup pitch deck.
The brief: PowerPoint decks for Qatar's embassy, built around international diplomatic initiatives. No room for a slide that looks even slightly off-grid for a second during a live delivery.
Instead of rebuilding every deck from scratch, I built a template system: fixed grids, pre-set transition rules, one color logic nobody could improvise around under deadline pressure. Prep time per deck dropped by about 30%. Layering real motion graphics technique on top of that pushed audience engagement up roughly 40% in the room, measured the unglamorous way, by how many people stayed looking at the screen instead of their phone.
Diplomatic work is brutal for exactly this reason: the content changes every single time, the format is never allowed to wobble once.
What's the highest-stakes room you've ever had a slide deck actually walk into?
