Limo, the Dot That Escaped the i
Meet Limo, the tiny creative soul living inside the Limez logo.
Limo began as the dot of the lowercase i—small, quiet, and easy to overlook. But once it escaped the wordmark, it became the personality of the entire Limez brand: curious, clever, cheeky, and always searching for the little details that make digital experiences feel better.
Built around the fictional brand Limez, the identity uses a dark green and soft lime color palette to create a playful yet modern visual world.
Limo's connection to the logo is central to the concept. It normally lives above the lowercase i, but it can leave the wordmark and appear across posters, stickers, packaging, social media, and other brand touchpoints while remaining instantly recognizable.
Limo is a tiny mascot with a big personality. Curious, clever, cheeky, and slightly cute—but never childish—it notices what feels off, reacts to boring design, celebrates great ideas, and always finds its way back home above the lowercase i. Though small in size, Limo represents the creative spark behind Limez.
To bring this mascot world to life, I created a range of brand applications that show Limo traveling through different creative moments:
Poster: A bold campaign built around the tagline "Small dot. Big ideas."
Sticker Pack: Mood-based stickers featuring Limo as curious, focused, cheeky, proud, confused, and sleepy.
Social Media Concept: A visual story showing how the dot escaped the logo and became the brand mascot.
Packaging & Studio Kit: A fictional Limez creative kit featuring Limo as the central brand character.
Styled Variants: Limo wearing studio-inspired accessories such as glasses, headphones, a beanie, a cap, a scarf, and a headset.
The biggest challenge was maintaining Limo's identity across every application. Whether it appears inside the logo, as a 3D-inspired character, in flat illustrations, wearing accessories, or on posters and stickers, its core features remain consistent: a dark green rounded dot, tiny expressive eyes, a soft, chunky silhouette, and a curious, cheeky personality.
The idea is simple:
The dot escaped the i.
Its name is Limo.
Small dot. Big ideas.
