GatsbyCar - Direct Booking Website Solution for Independent Car Rentals
Full-Stack Developer & Jamstack Specialist
Overview
A modern, lightning-fast website solution designed specifically for independent car rental operators, limousine services, and chauffeur businesses who want to escape OTA commissions and own their customer relationship.
Many small rental operators lose 15-30% per booking to OTAs and struggle with slow, outdated WordPress templates. I built GatsbyCar to solve that.
The Problem
High OTA Commission: Operators paying huge fees for every booking.
Slow & Not SEO-Friendly: Most rental themes are slow and rank poorly.
Complex Booking: Requires payment gateways and complex setups that small operators don't need.
Hard to Manage: Non-technical owners can't update fleet, prices, or blogs easily.
The Solution
I developed a Jamstack-based website using Gatsby 5 + React + Decap CMS.
Instead of a complex payment flow, I implemented a Direct Email Booking System. Customers submit booking requests, owners receive it instantly via email and close the deal directly via WhatsApp / Phone - no middleman, no commission, no monthly fees.
For content management, I integrated Decap CMS (Headless CMS) - owners can manage all cars, pricing, availability, and blog posts from a simple admin panel without any coding skills.

Landing page design for Lumo — banking for freelance life
Banks sell control — dashboards, charts, a card floating at fifteen degrees. Freelancers don't want control over their money. They want to stop thinking about it in the gap between sending an invoice and the money landing.
That gap is what the page is built on. The product sits in a meadow instead of on a dark grid, because the promise isn't "manage your finances better" — it's "we handle the part that keeps you up." And the strongest line on the page isn't a feature: no waiting for Monday. Freelancers don't lose weekends to fees. They lose them to timing.
The proof follows the same rule. One freelancer, one number — 4% lost on every international payment. A percentage someone can check against their own account beats any adjective.
I’ve been playing with Figma Motion lately, and honestly, it’s so much fun to watch an idea go from a static frame to something that actually moves and feels alive.
So I started with something personal: my favorite track on repeat, “My Way” by Calvin Harris. I designed a soft glass music player around it, with a frosted body, a vinyl peeking out from the top, and a warm sunset glow behind it, then brought it to life with motion.
Small experiments like this are my favorite way to learn new tools: one idea, one evening, and you see what’s possible.
Now I’m curious: who’s on repeat for you right now?
