Hi everyone!
I’m really excited to finally share CONTINUITY, my entry for the Cantina Character Challenge.
This story started with a question I couldn’t stop thinking about:
What would happen if reality changed around you — but you were one of the only people who remembered what existed before?
Not another universe. Not a dream.
Your own life.
People remember events differently. Places change. Someone you knew is suddenly gone.
And everyone accepts this new reality as if it has always been true.
Except you.
That idea became Lana Hart.
THE SERIES
CONTINUITY is a sci-fi mystery / psychological thriller following Lana Hart, a young woman who has spent years noticing strange inconsistencies in reality.
The one constant is a mysterious black Cube left to her by her mother.
Lana doesn’t fully understand what it is or why her mother had it. She only knows one rule:
When reality changes and the Cube reacts, pay attention.
For years, Lana has trusted that rule.
Then one night, the Cube reacts again.
And this time…
Lana loses someone she refuses to forget.
PILOT — EPISODE 1: “THE WRONG WORLD”
Lana is walking through the city with her younger sister, Nora, when she sees something impossible — a man she clearly remembers dying is suddenly alive.
The Cube reacts, and Lana uses it the way she was taught.
But when she returns home, reality is different.
Her dead parents are alive.
And Nora is gone.
Not missing.
Erased.
Her parents insist Lana has never had a sister, and everything around her supports their version of reality.
Even worse, the Cube — the one thing Lana trusts to warn her when something is wrong — stays completely dark.
The world says Nora never existed.
Lana remembers otherwise.
And that’s where CONTINUITY begins.
LANA HART
Lana is observant, stubborn, and unwilling to accept an answer simply because everyone else believes it.
She doesn’t begin the story understanding the Cube or the forces surrounding her family. But when something doesn’t make sense, she keeps digging.
Her greatest strength isn’t the Cube.
It’s that she remembers.
While everyone else accepts the new reality, Lana notices what no longer fits. She follows contradictions, searches for evidence, and pushes people who clearly know more than they admit.
But beneath everything is one simple goal:
Find Nora.
Lana doesn’t begin this story wanting to understand the universe.
She begins it wanting her sister back.
WHERE CONTINUITY GOES NEXT
Beyond the pilot, CONTINUITY follows Lana’s journey to find Nora and discover why reality erased her.
That search gradually pulls her into a much larger world of reality fractures, mysterious Cubes, people who remember erased lives, and a hidden organization known as the Continuity Bureau.
With every step closer to Nora, Lana discovers something about reality, her family, or her own past that she never knew.
The world is also designed to expand beyond Lana’s immediate story. The Bureau, its agents, different reality fractures, and the people affected by them can eventually support new characters, parallel stories, prequels and spin-offs.
But for now, the heart of the series remains simple:
Lana is going to find her sister.
And that journey may lead her toward something far bigger than Nora’s disappearance.
WHY I CREATED CONTINUITY
The idea for CONTINUITY came while I was watching videos about quantum mechanics — especially concepts like superposition, the observer effect and quantum entanglement.
I became fascinated by the idea of multiple possibilities existing before one outcome becomes definite, and I started imagining a fictional version of that concept on the scale of an entire reality.
That led to one question:
What if someone could interact with competing possibilities and force one version of reality to become the one everyone lives in?
From that came the Cube, Lana, Nora and the larger world of CONTINUITY.
MY VISION FOR THE SERIES
My vision is to build the mystery in layers.
Every episode should give the audience something meaningful — an answer, discovery, or new piece of the puzzle — while opening a larger question.
I don’t want the story to survive by simply hiding answers.
I want each answer to change what the audience thought they already understood.
The story begins with:
Where is Nora?
Then becomes:
Who else remembers her?
Why do they remember what reality erased?
What is the Continuity Bureau?
What did Lana’s mother know?
And how deeply is Lana herself connected to all of this?
Individual episodes can also explore their own reality fractures — people caught between conflicting lives, families remembering different histories, or places with impossible pasts — while still moving Lana closer to the larger truth.
CONTINUITY isn’t meant to be a mystery that simply gets bigger.
It’s a mystery that keeps changing shape as Lana gets closer to the truth.
CREATOR STUDIO FEEDBACK
My experience with Cantina Creator Studio was quite different between platforms.
The web version still needs stability improvements. I experienced several crashes and interruptions during longer creation sessions, which sometimes broke the flow while building scenes.
The iPhone version, however, was genuinely impressive. It felt smoother, easy to understand, and surprisingly powerful. Creating characters, developing the story, and turning those ideas into visual scenes felt very natural once I learned the workflow.
For me, that was one of Creator Studio’s biggest strengths:
It makes building a story feel accessible, while still leaving a huge amount of room for imagination.
I also really appreciated the support from the Cantina Ambassadors. Liam especially helped me a lot, answering many of my questions and helping whenever I ran into problems, so a big thank you to him.
Going forward, I’d love to see stronger tools for maintaining continuity across longer stories — especially locking character appearance, outfits, props, locations and important scene details between generations.
That would make Creator Studio even stronger for creators building full episodic worlds.

The submitted character and pilot were created end-to-end in Cantina.
CONTINUITY, its characters, story and world are my original work.
Thank you for watching.
CONTINUITY begins with one person disappearing.
But for Lana, the real mystery is only beginning.
If the entire world told you someone you loved never existed…
Would you believe the world or your own memory?
