Project Showcase: High-Converting Video Ad for Leading Leads
Overview:
As the video editor for Leading Leads, I produced a high-converting direct-response video ad targeting contractors and service business owners. The objective was to highlight the pain points of wasted time on shared leads and introduce their risk-free "10-Lead Challenge."
My Contributions:
Pacing & Hook Optimization: Crafted an engaging 3-second hook to immediately capture the attention of busy business owners by addressing the frustration of wasted marketing efforts.
Visual Storytelling & Narrative Flow: Seamlessly edited the universal body script, balancing professional authority with an approachable, results-driven tone.
Dynamic Editing: Enhanced retention through strategic visual cues, clean cuts, and polished audio-visual alignment to drive the final Call-to-Action (CTA) for maximum conversions.
Tools Used: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve.

Before you bring a video idea to any creative team, answer these six things first.
I put together a short video walking through answers you should be able to answer before starting a video project. Things like what the video actually needs to accomplish, where it's going to live, what raw materials you should have ready, and who's making the final call on feedback.
None of it is complicated. But most teams skip at least two or three of these and then wonder why the project takes twice as long as it should.
This applies whether you work with us or somebody else. Having these answers ready is the fastest way to get better work out of any creative team you hire.
