BÂTIMENT C 🏚️🔦 A first-person horror game in an abandoned tower block.
You're the night guard. On the security monitors, a man in ragged military gear walks through the burned building toward the 1st floor. You stand up, take the flashlight, cross the foggy street and go in alone. Every noise makes you whip the light around. Then the black door… and you have to fight your way out. 🎧 Sound on.
Controls: hold W/↑ to walk, mouse to look and aim the flashlight, SPACE/click for actions and quick-time events.
How I built it: • Rive CLI: the whole game written in RML with a coding agent (Claude Code), verified with rive --verify / inspect / screenshot, pushed to the Rive editor • GPU Canvas (WGSL): photos projected on simple 3D geometry for real perspective and head-turn parallax, a 3D flashlight spotlight lighting the surfaces, depth dust in the beam, distance fog, fisheye lens, grain and glitch • Luau scripting: first-person camera that follows the gaze, nervous glances, noises, the fight and its quick-time events with second chances • Data binding + state machines: story beats, HUD prompts, CCTV feeds, 50+ sound cues • Audio: 50+ sound effects, zero music
Uses both the CLI and GPU Canvas.
