I passed this billboard and had to take a picture because, as ridiculous as it looks, thereâs actually a pretty good business lesson hiding in it.
This business probably doesnât need a 14-step nurture sequence explaining what they sell.
They donât need an AI chatbot educating customers about their value proposition.
They may not need an elaborate content strategy or a beautifully engineered sales funnel.
They need people driving by to know:
âYep. We have that.â
And apparently they decided subtlety was optional.
But hereâs the important part:
That strategy works for their business.
It probably wouldnât work for yours.
A local convenience-driven retailer, a roofing company, a consultant, a SaaS company, an e-commerce brand, and a $20,000 B2B service should not have the same marketing system.
Yet businesses constantly get sold the same formula:
âPost more content.â
âRun Facebook ads.â
âBuild a funnel.â
âAdd AI.â
âAutomate everything.â
Maybe.
Or maybe you just need a giant sign that says WEED.
The point is that good marketing starts by understanding how your customer actually buys.
Where do they discover you?
What makes them stop?
What information do they need before they trust you?
How long does the decision take?
And what friction exists between âIâm interestedâ and âtake my moneyâ?
Build the system around those answersânot around whatever marketing tactic happens to be trending this month.
Sometimes the right solution is a sophisticated combination of websites, CRM, automation, AI, content, lead nurturing, and analytics.
Sometimes itâs four words on a billboard.
Knowing the difference is the strategy.
And whoever designed this one?
They definitely understood the assignment. đ
Whatâs the simplest marketing strategy youâve ever seen that actually worked?
Most kitchen appliance ads sell you the warm family dinner. I wanted to try the opposite.
Built this BORA concept as a portfolio piece, treating the product like architecture instead of tech â dark marble, concrete, no hands, no food styling. Just a pot, steam, and silence.
The steam does all the movement in the motion piece. Typography stays out of the way â one line, low CTA, nothing fighting the composition. Turns out when you strip out the lifestyle, the price point sells itself.
First video ad for thegoatdebate.io (my Messi vs Ronaldo paid poll â $1 = 1 vote, you get a card), made entirely in Higgsfield.
It's hard. Way harder than I expected. Also the most fun I've had on this project.
Yes, it looks AI. I know. Ignore that for a second â what I actually want to know is whether the idea lands: someone says "you're not even a real fan", the other guy doesn't argue, just shows his card.
Does that make you want to click, or is it too subtle?
Concept AI UGC advertisement created for a fictional SaaS product. The video combines a realistic AI creator, natural presentation, product interface visuals, and a clear call to action for social media advertising.
