Shaken or Rendered?
For
DanumPH's bar takeover at Renaissance, I combined 3D modeling, art direction, cocktail visualization, and graphic design into a single project. More importantly, I got to taste everything (I also bartended that night)!
But let’s focus on the 3D stuff for now.
I modeled the wine bottles, then used BlenderKit assets to build out the environment. From there, I played with the colors, glassware design, lighting, composition, and overall mood until the scenes felt like that corner booth at Renaissance bar.
The fun part was taking the renders beyond the 3D scenes. They became the visuals for the cocktail and wine menus, as well as the promotional materials.
I've included a few clay renders in the study because everyone loves a good WIP, and it’s always fun to see where the pictures started.
Hope this made you crave a cocktail or two! 🍸
