Slack Escalation Tracking Automation
Overview
Managing escalations across multiple Slack channels can quickly become difficult when updates are tracked manually. Important information can be missed, duplicate entries can occur, and stakeholders often lack visibility into the current status of escalations.
To solve this challenge, I built an automated Slack Escalation Tracking System using n8n that captures escalation updates in real time, extracts relevant information, processes message changes, and synchronizes the data into Google Sheets for centralized tracking and reporting.
The workflow automatically identifies escalation messages, extracts key details such as ticket references, owners, channels, and status updates, and maintains an up-to-date escalation database without manual intervention.
