EduAI Pro is a live CPD platform for teachers, with five accredited pathways of 12 units each. Every unit ends in a timed assessment, the interface kept changing, and the platform resets a quiz if anything reads the page. Nobody had tested a full journey end to end.
What I did.
I built an automation system in Playwright and Node.js that mapped the real user journey, then passed all 12 timed assessments of the Higher Education pathway. The first three units took months. After I added a language-model answer layer, the remaining nine passed in a single day. I then tested the school administrator dashboard against production, with read-only rules for real data and a separate test school for anything that writes.
What I found.
28 defects across two phases, 8 of them Critical. The biggest: a teacher who completed Higher Education was issued a certificate for a different programme. I also found a personal-data exposure (details withheld) and a roster that showed "0 teachers" for 44 seconds before the real data loaded.
What happened next.
I gave the developers a full QA report (a redacted extract is attached), then fixed several defects myself through reviewed pull requests. A fix only counts as done once I've confirmed it's live in production.
If you want the same for your product, my Automated QA Audit tests your key user journeys and gives you a clear, prioritised list of what breaks. Explore my service page let's get started.
