"Well, the old man started to talk to Kenneth again in French. I started looking, and I saw a worn-down horseshoe. Well, he gave it to me. It looked like it had come from a small horse, possibly a year or a year and a half old. He also gave me the real little spikes that go into the horseshoes. We took these, along with some flower seed, which were not poppy seeds, unfortunately, but some seeds which were to bring me health and prosperity in future life if I was to continue planting the flower seeds from the flowers that he was giving me now.”
