Project Overview
I partnered with a growing book retailer to design and develop a modern e-commerce website that made it easier for readers to discover, purchase, and enjoy books online. The Challenge

My Role
As the web designer and developer, I was responsible for redesigning the platform, improving usability, and building a scalable e-commerce solution tailored to the client's business goals.

Implemented advanced search and filtering by title, author, genre, language, price, and publication date.
Created detailed book pages featuring cover images, descriptions, author information, ratings, customer reviews, and related books.
Developed a secure shopping cart and streamlined checkout process to improve conversions.
Added customer accounts, wishlists, order tracking, and personalised book recommendations.
Integrated secure payment gateways and newsletter subscriptions.
Optimised website speed through image compression, lazy loading, and performance enhancements.
Applied SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility and attract more organic traffic.
