Real-Time AI Sanctions & Compliance API for Global Fintech
Project Summary: The AML Check API is a high-performance, developer-first compliance tool designed to help Fintechs, Neobanks, and Crypto exchanges screen users against global and regional watchlists. It solves the critical problem of "messy" government data by providing a single, unified REST endpoint that handles the ingestion, normalization, and "fuzzy" matching of high-risk entities.
As the Technical Product Manager, I led the 0-to-1 development of the AML Check API. I was responsible for identifying a high-value gap in the compliance market and translating complex legal requirements into a scalable technical product.

Financial tools for founders usually feel either cold (dashboards) or intimidating (accounting software).
For Ledger, we borrowed from old-world institutional finance instead — serif type, oil-painting textures, classical architecture — so an AI CFO feels like real authority, not another app.
This color pallet works so well with data and makes everything look premium. love it!

I designed this AI Governance Dashboard to bring policy management, compliance monitoring, AI application usage, user activity, and governance analytics into one centralized platform.
The goal was to keep a complex enterprise product simple, clear, and actionable through:

The hierarchy is doing the hard work here—policy health, app usage, and governance status read as one calm operational story instead of a wall of enterprise data. The focused sidebar and restrained gradients keep the dashboard actionable without making compliance feel heavy.
