I reimagined a historic artwork from The Met’s Open Access collection as a vision of the year 2125.
Instead of simply recreating the original, I explored how its subject, atmosphere, materials, and visual language might evolve in a radically different future. I wanted to preserve the soul of the original artwork while introducing futuristic architecture, fashion, technology, and cinematic lighting.
The project was developed through experimentation and iteration in FLORA, using the original museum piece as the creative foundation.
The result is a dialogue between the past and the future — showing how a work of art created centuries ago might exist in another hundred years.
