I Claude-d my portfolio and it turned out to be a very different way of working ✨
I took my existing portfolio, fed it into Claude, and asked it to refine the structure and convert it into an OS-style experience, something I had in mind for a while. I also shared a few references to guide the direction.
In just a few prompts, I had around 80–85% of the redesign ready. The rest was iteration.
A few things I noticed:
• I could give multiple changes at once (even up to 15 points), and it handled them pretty well
• Fine-tuning still took time, especially to keep everything consistent
• Sometimes it changed things I didn’t ask for, so I had to be very specific like “make these changes without touching anything else”
• The clearer the prompt, the better the output
• It helped not just with structure and layout, but also with visual detailing
Once done, I hosted the portfolio on GitHub and pushed it live.
It feels like a shift from “designing everything manually” to “directing the system and refining outcomes.”
This changed how I approach design.
