A few months ago, after spending years working in marketing, I decided to go all in and start building my own web design studio.
I’ve been using Contra for around 3 months, and until recently I hadn’t closed a single project here.
Then, in the space of one week, everything changed.
I went from $0 closed on the platform to $3K earned.
Honestly, seeing that happen after so many hours working, learning, improving my portfolio, posting, applying, and staying consistent feels really good.
It’s a reminder that sometimes it looks like nothing is moving… until suddenly it is.
Very happy to share this milestone, and even more motivated for what’s next.
And for anyone who’s still in that phase where nothing seems to happen yet: you’re probably closer than you think. Things really can change fast.
Now let’s go for the next milestone: $5K.
