It's sad to admit but unfortunately Contra died for me as a source of inbound leads.
I've invested a lot of time in my portfolio and content there but with the current state of discover rankings, there's nothing much I can do.
I completely feel you on this, Alex. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest so much energy into curating a top-tier portfolio only to have the inbound pipeline suddenly dry up due to algorithm shifts or ranking changes.

Thanks for your thoughts Molly. The shift is indeed happening and I agree we are not in control. I just have a few ideas I am going to try over the next couple weeks but that's pretty much it.
Hey Alex, thank you for sharing. I just got started on Contra, and I intended to invest a lot of time in polishing my portfolio on the platform and even investing in Pro. Seeing something like this is very concerning.

I don't know what changed but I used to get 20 inbound leads last year than it slowly decreased.

have got someone that bought pro last month haven't earn yet but was close and has also renew for this month. inbound leads really affect a lot

But it’s true
I can relate to this. It’s frustrating when you invest so much time into your portfolio and content but have little control over visibility. Hopefully Contra finds a better balance because there’s a lot of great talent that deserves to be discovered.
I saw people are making thousands & millions. I thought maybe I am using it for free that's why I am not getting any leads but seeing this I have doubts.

As a 3D product artist and animator , there are not many job offerings to begin with here , but the ones I have applied for ( and qualified for) have not even responded, wondering if its mostly about selling...
