A mobile job board app concept connecting designers, developers, and digital freelancers with remote-first opportunities.
Job.Quest is a mobile-first job board concept designed specifically for tech creatives : UI/UX designers, developers, and digital freelancers seeking remote-first roles.
The design challenge was to make job discovery feel fast, personal, and skimmable without overwhelming users with information. I solved this through a card-based feed system with skill-tag filtering, a warm neutral color palette to reduce visual fatigue, and a clean job detail view that surfaces the most decision-critical information (skills required, company, location, rating) before the full description.
Key design decisions:
— Tag pills on each card allow instant skill-matching at a glance
— The "Just Posted" section with time stamps creates urgency and drives return visits
— The detail screen uses a tabbed layout (Overview / Description / Company) to reduce cognitive load without hiding depth
—A persistent "Apply Now" CTA stays anchored at the bottom of the detail view, reducing friction to action
