Last Thursday, I gave a talk at NerdNite Fort Collins (https://fortcollins.nerdnite.com/2025/10/26/november-20-the-state-of-the-art-in-fashion-and-technology/) on how much people are tired of the internet, and what kind of independent spaces are cropping up as a result. Honestly, I would put Contra on that list! Spoiler alert: a decent chunk of the conversation was on artificial intelligence.
You can catch up with my nerdy ramblings on Gamma. (https://gamma.app/docs/Im-Tired-Grandpa-The-Rise-of-the-Indie-Web-Resistance-qj1h80yhxwhliqg) They're working on uploading both my and my partner's talks on YouTube as well.

Artists need quick and consolidated ways to support each other, and I do my best to build tools to support them in turn. Introducing my first iteration of my events platform: Vigri (https://vigri.art)!
Vigri is primarily suited for artists and other creatives that sell their work in person to find events. The events are crowd-sourced, with the intention of building a community around the Vigri ecosystem.
My partner and I are actively working to have vendor applications, payments, communications, and management for both vendors and coordinators available.
The goal? Saving time so creatives can focus on keeping their craft alive in the community.
For now, this public facing part of Vigri lives at https://vigri-events.bolt.host/, but will eventually be transitioned to https://events.vigri.art.
Let me know what you think!
