Artist Statement
My practice spans graphic design, apparel design, mixed media artworks, and set design, unified by a distinctive visual language that merges street art sensibilities with refined illustrative techniques. Through bold linework and high-contrast compositions, I create work that challenges viewers to find new meanings in familiar imagery.
At the core of my practice is a deep fascination with the universal language of animal forms, which I juxtapose with fantastical human elements – skeletons, skulls, and ethereal figures. These non-human forms serve as accessible entry points into deeper explorations of contemporary society and human experience.
My work deliberately plays with contradiction: religious imagery collides with contemporary themes, while pop culture references are reframed through a lens of pulp-retro irony. By combining seemingly disparate elements into cohesive compositions, I create visual narratives that reflect the complexity and occasional absurdity of modern life.
Artistic Approach
My creative process is deeply rooted in responding to environmental stimuli, transforming everyday experiences into visually striking compositions. Key elements include:
Bold Linework: Emphatic, confident strokes that create dynamic visual impact
Limited Color Palettes: Carefully chosen colors that maximize emotional resonance
Cultural Synthesis: Blending street art, tattoo aesthetics, and surrealist themes
Symbolic Integration: Using animal motifs and skeletal imagery as universal connectors
Playful Subversion: Challenging conventional norms through unexpected juxtapositions
Professional Practice
Based in Jersey City, my work manifests across multiple platforms:

Mixed Media Artworks
Large-scale Poster Art
Set Design & Installation
Through these various mediums, I explore themes of cultural identity, societal abundance, and human vulnerability, all while maintaining a signature style that bridges the gap between fine art and street culture.
