Emergencies don’t wait for complex apps.
In critical moments, speed and clarity matter more than anything.
OudCare includes a simplified SOS feature designed for elderly users who may panic under pressure.
The design focuses on:
• one-tap emergency activation
• large, clearly labeled action buttons
• instant alerts sent to caregivers
There’s no complex flow.
No confusion.
No delay.
Once triggered:
• caregivers receive immediate notifications
• location data can be shared
• emergency status is clearly visible
Because in real life, every second matters.

Caregivers don’t miss warning signs.
They just see them too late.
Inside OudCare, each patient has a simple, easy-to-read health overview.
But instead of showing more data,
it highlights what actually needs attention.
• medication adherence
• mood patterns
• daily activity signals
Then AI layers on top.
It detects patterns
and flags early warning signs
before they become serious.
Not to replace caregivers.
But to support them.
To help them notice:
what’s changing
what’s unusual
what needs action
Because in healthcare, timing matters.
This isn’t just tracking health.
It helps caregivers act before things get worse.

Most healthcare apps forget one important user: the elderly.
Healthcare apps are often designed for people who are already comfortable with technology.
But many elderly users struggle with things like:
• small text
• complex navigation
• confusing reminders
I wanted to explore what a calmer, simpler healthcare experience could look like.
So I designed OudCare — a mobile healthcare concept built to support elderly users and their caregivers together.
The goal was simple:
• help elderly users manage daily health routines
• give caregivers clear insights into wellbeing
• reduce stress around medication and emergencies
The result is a dual-experience healthcare app designed around clarity, accessibility, and reassurance.
Over the next few posts I’ll be sharing some of the features and UI decisions behind OudCare.
