Grunge Revival Editorial Styling & Visual Concept (Y2K x Punk Aesthetic)
This project explores a modern reinterpretation of 1990s–2000s grunge culture, blending rebellious street style with contemporary fashion storytelling. The concept was developed through moodboarding, styling, and visual direction, focusing on bold textures, distressed elements, and statement accessories.
The styling features layered silhouettes, raw-cut fabrics, chain detailing, and punk-inspired elements such as stars, crosses, and metallic accents. A monochrome-heavy palette with deep reds was used to create contrast and emotional intensity, reflecting themes of individuality, angst, and self-expression.
I conceptualized and executed the full creative direction—from moodboard curation to outfit styling, accessory coordination, and shoot aesthetics. The final visuals were designed to feel editorial yet personal, combining attitude-driven poses with graphic collage backgrounds inspired by zines and underground fashion culture.
