Before You Send
I’ve been thinking about how much tone shapes outcomes in conversations.
For the Figma Makeathon, I built a minimal messaging companion that introduces a small but powerful interaction: a pause.
Through a subtle long-press gesture, the interface surfaces a rewrite layer that helps reframe emotional or unclear messages in both work and personal chats without disrupting flow.
Behind the scenes, the system responds differently to strong language, defensive tone, or vague replies, adapting suggestions based on context rather than applying a generic rewrite.
It’s a small interaction, but it can change the trajectory of a conversation.
