The key challenge on this edit was pacing: eliminating dead container frames and background flashes across scene boundaries to create a fluid, continuous flow where each cut feels alive.

Field Notes is an editorial journal — a magazine-style reading site built around classic typography, generous margins, and a calm paper palette. It leads with a
large featured article, then flows into a clean grid of notes across categories like Craft, Design, and Practice.
What makes it work is the content system behind it: every article is a data entry, and the page renders itself from that data. Readers can filter by category,
search live across titles, tags, and authors, and switch between grid and list views — with a graceful empty state when nothing matches. It's a small,
self-contained CMS-style front end, fully responsive and fast.
