Papelino is a children’s IP created for long-form YouTube episodes, with the goal of inspiring imagination, creativity and hands-on building. The idea came from a very personal place: my son. He has always loved creating amazing things out of cardboard. For him, building is often just as important as playing. That is the moment where he imagines, invents worlds and turns simple objects into big adventures. That inspiration became Papelino: a character who transforms cardboard boxes and everyday objects into toys, missions and imaginary worlds. More than entertainment, Papelino carries an important message: children don’t need to only consume ready-made toys. They can also imagine, build, create and bring their own ideas to life. In this project, we used AI video as part of the production process to create long-form episodes with children’s storytelling, consistent characters and a visual universe made of cardboard. Papelino is about creativity, play and imagination, showing that a simple box can become anything when a child believes in their own idea.

Can you guess what is AI and what is 3D? In this project, I worked on the creation of a video for an Italian company that develops a device used in bars. The goal was to present the product in a visually modern and sophisticated way. To achieve the final result, we combined two production approaches: traditional 3D, with modeling and animation, and scene creation using artificial intelligence. The main challenge was making these two worlds work together naturally: the 3D product needed to integrate seamlessly into the AI-generated scenes while maintaining realism, visual rhythm and a professional finish. #aivideo

Papelino is a children’s IP owned by Fly Media, created to combine imagination, adventure and creativity inside a visual universe made of cardboard. My wife and I were responsible for the creative development of the project, including the core concept of the IP, character creation, visual world-building, set design, AI animation generation and episode editing. The concept of Papelino is to transform simple everyday situations into big imaginative missions, always starting from something children can build, play with or explore. Within this universe, cardboard boxes become toys, sets, vehicles, tools and portals to new adventures. The project brings together children’s storytelling, character-driven narratives, animation and audiovisual production, creating a playful and expressive world with a strong visual identity. One of the main creative challenges was developing and maintaining a consistent visual language for Papelino, Lina and Mimo, while preserving the charm of cardboard, the handcrafted feeling of the world and the energy of a modern children’s series. Beyond long-form episodes, the IP also expands into short-form social media content, tutorials, clips and universe-building videos, creating different ways to connect with children and families. Papelino is a story about imagination, creativity and play, showing that with the right idea, a simple cardboard box can become anything.

In this project, I participated as an animator in a branded content piece featuring Ney Ney, an animated IP connected to Neymar Jr.’s universe. The production is led by Fly Media and NR Sports, and my role was focused on the animation and visual construction of the scene. Instead of creating a traditional ad, the goal was to integrate the Flexform chair into one of the character’s micro-stories, making the product appear naturally within the narrative. The chair couldn’t feel like just an object placed in the scene. It needed to belong to Ney Ney’s universe, connected to the humor, the situation and the visual language of the animation. One of the main challenges was working with AI while keeping the look and feel of traditional 2D animation. The goal was to create a consistent, expressive result with a visual finish close to classic animation, without making it feel like just an artificial intelligence experiment. Throughout the process, I worked on character consistency, scene rhythm, product integration and visual polish, balancing technology, storytelling and animation language. This project is part of Ney Ney’s short-form social media content line, within a much larger IP mainly focused on long-form content and building its own universe around the character. Project by Fly Media and NR Sports. Participation as animator.

I created a short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts as part of a content series about financial markets, investments and crypto assets with expert Gianluca Sidoti. The challenge was to turn a technical topic into a fast, clear and engaging video, using editing rhythm, strategic cuts, dynamic captions and visual support designed to increase retention on social media. The project combines expert content with short-form video language, making topics like finance, investments and crypto more accessible and interesting for digital audiences.

I had the opportunity to participate as an animator in a series of branded content videos featuring Ney Ney, an animated IP connected to Neymar Jr.’s universe. The project is led by Fly Media and NR Sports, and I was part of the production, contributing to the animation of some pieces in the series. The Ney Ney IP is a much larger project, mainly focused on long-form content and on building its own universe around the character. Within that universe, there is also a series of short-form social media pieces created to connect the character with football moments, Neymar’s audience and partner brands. The video I’m showcasing here is part of that social media content series: a piece created around the Brazil vs Haiti context, with the integration of a product from Canção, a food company. The goal was to make the brand appear naturally inside the micro-story, without feeling like a traditional ad. The product needed to live inside the narrative, connected to the humor, the character and the match-day moment. One of the biggest technical and creative challenges was producing an AI-assisted animation that truly felt like traditional 2D animation. We didn’t want the result to look like an artificial intelligence experiment, but rather a consistent, expressive visual piece with a finish close to classic animation. For this project, I worked on the animation, focusing on character consistency, scene rhythm and visual polish, balancing technology, storytelling and animation language. It was a very special project because it brought together a major IP, the cultural weight of Neymar Jr., social media content, product placement and a new way of producing animation with artificial intelligence.

I created a series of videos for Ferrara Cidadania Italiana, focused on social media content about Italian citizenship, documentation and common questions related to the process. The challenge was to turn a bureaucratic topic into clear, dynamic and easy-to-consume videos, using strategic cuts, dynamic captions, visual support and an editing style designed for retention. The project combined information, authority and short-form video language, helping Ferrara communicate more directly and accessibly with people interested in obtaining Italian citizenship.
