My Experience with Contra: No Relevant Jobs for Editorial & Print Design
I subscribed to Contra Pro hoping to find freelance opportunities in editorial design and print-ready materials, including magazines, catalogs, brochures, and booklets.
Unfortunately, I haven’t received any relevant job opportunities in my field. As a professional editorial and print designer, this has been a disappointing experience.
My advice to fellow designers: Before investing in a Pro subscription, carefully evaluate whether Contra offers opportunities that match your specific services.
I’m sharing my personal experience to help other freelancers make an informed decision. I hope Contra improves its job-matching system and provides more opportunities for editorial and print design professionals.

COUTURE WITH CAUSE — Fundraising Event Flyer
Proud to present a luxury fundraising event flyer I designed for my client’s Couture with Cause charity event — an evening where fashion, philanthropy, and purpose come together. ❤️
The design was created to capture the event’s elegant, high-end fashion identity while keeping the fundraising mission and key event information clear, engaging, and easy to navigate.
✨ Design Highlights:
• Luxury editorial-inspired visual direction
• Elegant fashion-focused composition
• Premium gold, ivory & deep red color palette
• Strong typographic hierarchy
• Heart-inspired fundraising elements
• Clear presentation of event details and experiences
• Designed for US Letter portrait format
Couture with Cause supports heart health initiatives and children’s healthcare while bringing women, philanthropists, healthcare advocates, and fashion lovers together for an evening with purpose.
✨ Come for the fashion.
❤️ Stay for the mission.
✨ Leave with your heart full.
Another project where design meets purpose.

Hope you would like it.
