Through the Social Impact Catalyst (SG) Fellowship, I set out to make climate and disaster updates actually usable for regular people, not just experts.
Most of my work was decision-like:
1. With all the climate and disaster data out there? Why do regular people still end up guessing what’s actually happening near them?
2. What does someone see first on a stressful day?
I focused on the user experience, taking forecasts, satellite, and local updates and turning them into calm, scannable views that still load on the device.
It’s the same approach I bring to client projects: clear hierarchy, thoughtful states, and interfaces that respect the person on the other side of the screen.
