Malik is an illustrator from East Java, Indonesia. His illustration style is shaped by various influences such as cinematography, modern painting, and editorial illustration-especially those pioneered by East Asian art schools. He is also heavily inspired by digital painting techniques and narrative painting. Malik started his illustration journey self-taught before deepening his skills through classes at the School of Illustration founded by Dion MBD.
