Another key flow I worked on at Immi was our user acquisition funnel. I designed and built a zero-signup way for users to create a postcard and share it via a custom, shareable URL, no account required to send or receive one. It let people experience the core product moment before ever hitting a signup wall, and gave us a natural viral loop: anyone who received a postcard could see the full experience and create their own. While working as the founding designer partner at Immi, I got to redesign and build out our core interaction on the Home Feed, a stack of postcards. The tricky part was maintaining spatial continuity and fluid frame rates as users switched between the stack and list view. My first two approaches hit reach technical walls: re-ording the stack on the JS thread caused dropped frames on fast swipes, and a dual stack workaround on the last card in the deck. The version in this recording runs entirely on the UI thread using Reanimated worklets, so it holds 60fps regardless of what else is happening. Make a Postcard Here: https://immi.community/create:

Hey everyone! I built Jam.js, a web app made with Spline, 3.js, and WebGL that helps beginner guitarists better visualize how to play chords. I’m a visual learner, and when I first picked up the guitar, I always wished I had something that showed chord shapes in 3D. So I decided to make it. The models were built in Spline, and I brought everything to life in 3.js. This started as an idea from the Contra × Spline Hackathon, and I’ve kept iterating on it since. Would love to hear what you think, especially from anyone into creative coding, 3D, or music tech. You can try it here 👉(Jam.js) (https://jamjs.netlify.app/) Stay cozy 🎶
