Project description:
OddCo Studios is a creative team of artists, animators, and storytellers who help creators and studios bring character-driven stories to life. They needed a website that felt as distinctive as their art while making it easy for potential clients to explore their work and get in touch.
I built the site from scratch with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, without relying on a template or page builder. This kept the site lightweight and fast-loading, which matters for a portfolio full of rich artwork, and gave full control over the custom look the studio wanted.
The site is organized around the studio's three core services: 2D animation, original character design, and illustrated comics and manga. Each area has its own showcase so visitors can jump straight to the work they care about, from concept art through to finished animation. JavaScript powers the interactive elements and smooth transitions, while PHP handles the server-side functionality such as form submissions.
The design puts the artwork first, with clean layouts, clear calls to action, and a fully responsive layout that looks sharp on phones, tablets, and desktops. SEO-friendly titles and descriptions help the studio get discovered by clients searching for animation and character design services.

Title: Daytrip – Live Taxi Booking Platform
Short description (one-liner):
A production taxi booking platform live at daytrip.ie (http://daytrip.ie), built with Laravel and React, featuring instant fare quotes, scheduled rides, saved-card payments, and a full admin dashboard.
Project description:
Daytrip is a live taxi booking platform serving passengers, business customers, and fleet administrators in Ireland. I built and deployed the complete system, from the booking experience and payment flow to the admin tools and production server.
Passengers search addresses with Google Maps, add up to three stops, and get an instant fare quote before signing in. Fares are calculated on the server from distance, passenger count, and waiting time, so prices stay accurate and can't be tampered with from the browser. The system also checks the number of passengers against vehicle capacity and suggests the smallest vehicle that fits when a group is too large.
Customers can book immediately or schedule ahead, pay by cash or card, add return journeys, flight details, and notes, and manage their booking history and cancellations. Favourite addresses and reusable quick-booking templates make regular trips faster, and idempotency keys prevent duplicate bookings if a request is retried.
Card payments run through SumUp, with saved cards and a default payment method. Card details are entered only in SumUp's secure widget and never reach the server, card setup is re-verified directly with SumUp, and ownership is checked before any card is charged or removed.
Administrators get a dedicated dashboard with booking statistics, search and filtering, status updates, driver assignment, and driver and vehicle management. Fare rates, including base fare, price per km, passenger charge, and waiting charge, can be edited from the admin panel and apply to new quotes instantly while existing bookings keep their original price.
The public site includes business pages for corporate, healthcare, hospitality, and public-sector customers, a fare estimator, and contact and demo-request forms that notify the admin inbox by email.
Security and reliability were built in throughout: owner-scoped access policies, rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, strict CORS, consistent error responses that never leak internal details, and automated PHPUnit tests covering authentication, fare calculation, seat checks, payments, and admin access. The platform runs on a Contabo VPS with OpenLiteSpeed, a background queue worker for emails, a scheduler for automatic booking completion, a locked-down firewall, and nightly database backups.

Title: Happy Hour – AI-Powered Restaurant Operations Platform

Project description:
Restaurant managers often juggle spreadsheets, paper invoices, and separate tools for stock, staff, and sales, which makes it hard to know what each dish really costs. Happy Hour brings all of it into a single web application built for hospitality businesses.
The standout feature is AI-powered invoice capture. Managers upload a PDF or photo of a supplier invoice, and the system extracts the supplier, line items, pack sizes, GST, and totals, matches the supplier by ABN, and updates ingredient prices automatically. Every extraction is validated and flagged for review when something doesn't add up, so the AI never silently invents numbers.
Those ingredient prices flow directly into recipe costing. Each recipe shows its live cost, margin, and how many portions can be produced from current stock, including which ingredient is the limiting factor. Managers can also generate recipe drafts with AI and review them before anything is saved.
Inventory runs on a perpetual stock ledger covering waste, comps, corrections, and blind physical stocktakes with variance review. Daily sales from Z reports are reconciled against recipes to deplete stock and reveal shrinkage and yield drift.
Beyond back-of-house, the platform includes a POS terminal, cash drawer management, a Kitchen Display System, staff rosters, a public time clock, expense tracking with P&L reporting, and an AI insights engine that ranks cost-saving opportunities across suppliers, recipes, and sales. The AI layer supports multiple providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini, configurable from the settings page.

Title: Fivestar Galway Taxis – Ride-Hailing & Fleet Management Platform

Project description:
Fivestar Galway Taxis needed a single platform to run their entire ride-hailing and fleet operation, from booking a ride to paying the driver. I delivered the PHP backend and web administration system that powers their customer and driver mobile apps, admin team, and public website.
The platform handles the complete trip lifecycle: ride requests, driver availability and dispatch, live trip updates, fare calculation, and post-trip reviews. Beyond rides, it supports parcel delivery with public tracking, customer and driver wallets, referrals, loyalty points, and promotions such as coupons, discounts, and zone-specific campaigns.
Real-time communication is central to the experience. Trip events and in-app chat between customers and drivers run over Laravel Reverb and Pusher, with push notifications delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
For payments, the system integrates multiple gateways, including Stripe, Razorpay, Mercado Pago, iyzico, and Xendit, along with transaction records, exports, and wallet funding. The admin panel lets the business manage vehicles, zones, fares, drivers, customers, SMS and mail settings, localization, maintenance mode, and AI-powered features via OpenAI integration.
The codebase is built with a modular architecture of 16 independent domain modules (trips, fares, zones, payments, chat, promotions, and more). This keeps the system maintainable and makes it easy to extend with new features or markets.
