An ecommerce website experience for a footwear brand, designed to combine comfort-led product storytelling, clear collection discovery, and a dedicated path for wholesale enquiries. Project overview Carbon Footwear is a footwear brand focused on premium-quality slippers for men, women, and children. The website needed to communicate more than a product catalogue. It had to introduce the brand with confidence, help shoppers explore the right collection quickly, explain the quality behind each pair, and support wholesale buyers looking for a reliable manufacturing or supply partner. The resulting experience combines strong product imagery, warm editorial styling, clear category navigation, and practical calls to action. Every section contributes to one consistent message: Carbon Footwear delivers comfort, style, durability, and dependable quality for every step. The homepage was structured as a complete brand journey. It begins with the emotional benefit of comfort, moves into product discovery, explains the materials and craftsmanship behind the footwear, shows the products in a lifestyle setting, and finishes with a focused wholesale partnership section. Deliverables Full ecommerce homepage design Product and collection presentation system Retail and wholesale user journeys Content hierarchy and UX structure Brand-led visual direction Product benefit and craftsmanship sections Conversion-focused calls to action Responsive design direction Project outcome The finished design gives Carbon Footwear a polished digital presence that reflects the look and feel of its products. It creates a clear hierarchy across the homepage, gives each collection a distinctive place, and makes quality visible through close product details and structured proof points. The website also presents the brand as commercially capable. Retail customers receive an attractive route into the collections, while wholesale partners receive a direct explanation of the business value and an obvious enquiry path. The overall result is an ecommerce experience built around comfort, craft, and confident product discovery.

Cover image for H Nieves Plumbing LLC has
H Nieves Plumbing LLC has more than 40 years of plumbing experience, a strong local reputation, and a straightforward promise: quality work and honest service. The original website communicated some of that information, but its dated presentation, limited structure, and large areas of unused space did not reflect the experience or professionalism behind the business. This redesign explored how the company's existing identity could be translated into a modern, credible, and conversion-focused website. The goal was not to remove the character of the brand. It was to give that character a stronger digital presence and make the website feel as dependable as the service being offered. For a home-service website, visitors often arrive with an immediate problem. They need to understand who the company is, whether it handles their issue, why it can be trusted, and how to get help without searching through the page. The redesign needed to make those answers visible within seconds. Redesign objectives The project focused on six core goals: 1. Create a stronger and more professional first impression. 2. Make the company's plumbing services easy to scan. 3. Establish trust early through experience, pricing, service quality, and local credibility. 4. Give calling and requesting a quote clear visual priority. 5. Build a consistent journey from the opening promise to the final contact section. 6. Preserve the recognizable red, black, and white identity of H Nieves Plumbing LLC. UX and content strategy The new homepage follows the way a potential customer evaluates a local service business. It begins with a clear promise, "Plumbing You Can Trust," supported by the company's 40+ years of experience and two immediate actions: request a quote or call directly. A compact trust bar then reinforces the most important reasons to believe the promise before the visitor reaches the service section. The six core services are presented in a fast-scanning grid: plumbing repairs, installations, water heaters, remodeling, commercial plumbing, and maintenance. Each service has a distinct icon and a short explanation, reducing the effort required to understand what the company offers. The page then moves from services to the company's story, reasons to choose the business, examples of completed work, and a final contact prompt. This structure creates a simple sequence: understand the offer, confirm the expertise, see evidence of quality, and take action. Key improvements 1. Stronger first impression The redesigned hero immediately communicates the service, the value proposition, and the next step. A close-up plumbing image, strong headline, clear supporting copy, and visible contact options make the business feel active, capable, and professional. 2. Clear service hierarchy The original page mentioned services inside a dense biography section. The redesign turns the offer into six distinct service cards, helping visitors quickly find the solution that matches their needs. 3. Visible calls to action Request-a-quote and call buttons appear at natural decision points throughout the page. This gives visitors a clear next step whether they are ready to act immediately or need more information first.
